It was purchased as a fun summer ride / project vehicle. ( I have entirely too many projects that are taking precedence over this guy)

New front and rear lift springs

New front and rear shocks

New Carburetor

New Spark Plugs,

New Spark Plug wires

New distributor (new ICM included, but not installed)

Nutter bypass

Good clutch, transmission, transfer case, and power steering.

Nice clean, straight, and unmodified frame.

Runs, drives, and stops. (Driven at least 2-3 times per week) Will pull up to 70 mph in 5th gear on flat ground. Goes at 60-65 mph well in 4th.

That was the good news, Now the bad.

As the photos show, the body is rough. Both rust and recent damage. It will need side panels, rust repair, and thanks to the hit and skip guy last week, the passenger rear corner now needs attention.

There is no interior carpet or liner. A previous owner sprayed a light layer of bed-liner for the interior floors.

It has 220k+ miles on it. It both burns and leaks motor oil.

I stink at tuning a carburetor, so there is a bad stumble right off of idle when the engine is cold, and once the engine gets warm, there is still a slight one. You can accelerate through it and then it runs and pulls hills well.

The radio doesn't work, but the speakers do.

Most of the gauges in the center dash do not work, the fuel gauge works, but it reads about ¼ tanks of gas more than you actually have.

If you are looking for an inexpensive Jeep to use for a build or for light off roading, this is a good choice for you

If you are looking for a turnkey daily driver, this is not the Jeep for you.
