1968 Jeep Commando

Up for auction is a 1968 Jeep Commando that I bought through a friend a couple of years ago. The story is the jeep spent most of its life in Delaware until the owner married and moved to NY about 11 years ago. Not long after the owner moved he parked it in an old dairy barn on his property until part of the barn fell down about four years ago when it was moved outside. I purchased the jeep to restore it about in May of 2014 and it sat in my barn until this fall when I moved it outside when I needed some room. It is a pretty solid barn find. Last summer I changed the oil, ut some tranny fluid down the spark plug holes, leaned the points, isconnected the fuel line, ut a battery in, oured some gas in the carberator, nd it fired up. I then found that the rubber filler neck hose was rotten when I tried to put fuel in the tank That was the last I played with it. I have realized I am too busy and it deserves a new home. Please look at pictures for condition and please ask questions if you have any. I have a shop manual that goes with it. It does not have a battery in it and the brakes do not work, am assuming that it has a rusted line or leaky wheel cylinder.I have a shop manual that goes with it. I do not have a registration for this vehicle. It was last registered in Delaware, nd I have a signed bill of sale from the last registrant. The jeep is inFultonville NY 12072 where it would need to be picked up. Payment due within 72 hours of auction close and pickup must be done within 30 days. Happy bidding.
