1979 Jeep Cherokee fullsize

This is an amazing Jeep and has been my dailydriver for the last 3 years. I bought it from the original owner in Utah who had it in his garage as a back up snow plow for the majority of its life.Sensepurchased, it hascompleted several tripsbetween Salt Lake City and San Diego with no problems what so ever. It has what I believe is the 401 engine in it with a working front and reardifferentials switch in the glove box, the high low leaver on the floor works aswell so this would be the perfectbeginning for a rock crawler or off road vehicle. It has anauxiliary 22 gal gas tank that works at the flip of a switch and is fantastic for long distancetravel. It has a rebuilt engine with 50,000 mil and a rebuilt transmission with 75,000 mil. There are no mechanical problems that i amaware of outside ofa small oil leak coming from the gasket connecting the transfer case and engine block that only leaks when the vehicle is warm from operation. The interior is in amazing condition considering it is almost 40 years old and has no issues other than some tearing on the drivers seat and a cracked steering wheel emblem. The rearbumper was replaced with a heavydutysteel bumper at somepoint in the past. The Y bar that works the rear window is missing a critical fastener so the rear window needs help moving up and down but would work perfectly after replacement with a new Y bar. There is rusting around and in the rear wheel wells and hole has developed in the rearpassenger side well but the rest of the body is solid. The last paint job was at some point in the mid 80s. It has an aftermarket sound system with apioneer deck that worksflawlesslywith the option for aux, usb, cd orradio. It is registered in Utah as a vintage vehicle and needs a new catalytic converter in order to pass CA emissions. My bank is currently inpossessionof the title andthere is still $1,400 left on the loan there fore afterpayment isreceivedit will take up to 2businessweeks toreceive the tittle. Any shipping of the vehicle out side of the San Diego / LA area needs to be handled by the buyer.
