Selling a very nice Classic 1981 Jeep CJ7 Laredo. California Jeep CJ that has spent most of the last 10 years garaged as part of a large 40 plus car "Classic car collection" in So. California. Jeep was driven time to time over the years on nice weather days up and down the So. California coast highway. Huntington beach and Long beach area. It's a very reliable Jeep that is fun to drive and looks great doing it. People love the look's of this Jeep! Body is original, uncut and laser straight. Jeep was re painted a few years back, but has been garage kept and not driven much so the paint still looks very nice today. " No dents or body damage". (Nice body with all lips on fenders and the paint look's great) It's a Laredo package CJ and the Laredo hood decals was not re installed after paint. The interior is clean and sanitary looking. Not new out of the box but still very respectable as is. = SEE PHOTO'S and VIDEO. The floor carpet showing some age but Jeep fitted with floor mats that cover most of the carpet = so it views fine as is. Jeep is powered by a newer style Chevy 350 cubic inch V8 motor with "serpentine belt system". Motor is a mid late 90 model year Chevy 350 V8 . The same motor used in the 1/2 ton and 3/4 ton 2x4 and 4x4 pickups of that time period. . The motor runs nice, idles nice, no valve tappet or lifter noise, it's a nice running and sounding V8 for sure. No motor oil leaks ( NONE). The motor is older and has been in Jeep for the past 10 years. I did not install it so mile unknown on motor = But it still runs well and has a lot of get up and go left in it. 40 lb oil pressure. 180 deg water temp." SEE VIDEO for more detail on motor and motor options. Motor fitted with Headers, Duel exhaust, Aluminum intake, 4 BBL carb, Electronic dist. The Transmission also up graded to a newer mid late 90 model year GM Turbo 350 Automatic transmission with floor shiftier and B&M shift linkage. (Shifts nice ) You can put Jeep in Drive and go "or" you can (manual shift) it up or down the gear pattern like a manual transmission.= making it very fun to drive on and off road. SEE VIDEO. You can also hold it in the "gear you want " when off road driving. The Turbo 350 Auto Transmission was rebuild 1,500 proven driven reliable miles ago. No leaks bottom side of motor and no leaks bottom side of Jeep ( that's rare). The front end is Jeep Dana 30 with locking hubs = great working order! The 4 by 4 transfer case is the good Jeep Dana 300 also in great working order. The rear end is Jeep Dana 20 and has also been fitted with custom "track bars" some call them 2 link. *Track bars is a extra "secure point" that secures the rear end to the frame. They will limit any axle or rear end twist when On or Off road driving. No axle rap, very nice rear end set up! Jeep has Power steering so it's easy to drive. Power disc brakes on front with drum brakes on rear, so it easy to stop! The E brake also works great. All the electrical is in good working order. Charging system in good working order. All lights in good working. All gauges in Jeep work correct = OIL, TEMP, FUEL, VOLT, The factory in dash Tac also works. New coolant and new heater core just installed. Also fitted with heater line shut off valve under hood to limit heat into cab area in the summer hot months = SEE VIDEO. Heater will cook you out on of cab on the high setting. Wipers work, Horn works, Blinkers work, E flashers work = SEE LIGHT VIDEO. Jeep also fitted with a AM/FM/CD stereo. It has two power amps and other stereo stuff installed under the seat and in the glove box. I'm not a big stereo guy and don't understand how to adjust any of it. But it powers up and sound comes out of it when i put a cd in it. Jeep has a 2 1/2 inch spring suspension lift for better ground clearance and softer ride. Jeep also fitted with a mild body lift for better tire clearance and cool looking body stance. Body lift's very easy to install and remove if you ever want it higher or lower. No Tire or fender rub in wheel wells. Jeep fitted with custom 17 inch bead lock style wheels and (New 33 tall and 10.5 wide M/T tires). Nice tire for both in town and Off road use. Not not a great highway or interstate type tire. (Jeep will also fit 35 tall tires without tire rub if you want to go even bigger on tire size). Jeep is fitted with A/C and all A/C parts in place under hood and under dash. The A/C compressor will turn on and spin under hood and the A/C fan will "blow air" from the inside A/C vents. But A/C not blowing cold at this time. Needs a repair or a charge to get it blowing cold. But Jeep is fitted with A/C so that saves you $2,000 on A/C parts and install cost upfront if you want or need A/C. Jeep fitted with factory metal 1/2 doors that remove. Jeep also has a bikini top on it at this time. Jeep has the factory roll bar in it so a (soft top or hard top will fit on this Jeep) if you want to add one in the future. * It's a nice looking Classic CJ7. It's reliable, it runs nice, it drives nice for a Jeep, it shifts nice, it stops nice. It has no body damage and is not bondo filles. Not rusted out like most the older CJ you see today. Has no leaks under it. It look's nice inside and out and under the hood. Motor and motor bay also clean and detailed. Bottom side also clean and detailed. SEE PHOTO of bottom side floor pans ( Look outstanding) It's a very respectable and very sanitary Classic 35 years old CJ 7 for sure. *Jeep will "also" be listed For Sale outside of E bay.
