1984 Grand Wagoneer
I have converted it to a T-18 trans with the Dana 20 transfer case with twin sticks, removed the front drive shaft to save some gas when it was $4.00 a gallon, nd just havent re installed it. It has Widetrack axles with 3:54 gears. I put the razor grill and facia on along with the hood bar, I have the pig nose and all of the parts to switch it back to original.( included in sale) Original 84' aluminum style wheels (included in sale)
It has a 360 engine that has passed DEQ in portland in the past, owever I didn't make it through before the tags expired this year. It runs and drives good, like the 4spd but it is not good for crusing on the freeways. I used it to haul the kids here and there. It is fun to drive and very reliable.
The front power windows work however the rear door windows not so much, The tail gate window works from both the dash and with the key. It has an am/fm radio and c/d player for your listening pleasure.
All gauges work except gas and odometer. it shows a low low 56K. It worked when I bought it, o some time during my ownership It quit clicking over, estimate that I have only put 10,000 on it maybe. However it looks like it has way more. I have owned it for around 6 years I think. I have swapped the entire drive train anyway so the miles might be accurate for the original rear axle I have in the garage. This jeep is 32 years old and still has plenty of years left in it.
I just ripped out the wet carpet last week after discovering the surface rust developing in the passenger floor board and the floor board behind the front passenger seat. Water is coming through the vent in the kick panel area. The dome lights don't work but it is the wiring heading back I may have it fixed before it sells. Headliner is warped because it rains so so much in portland.
The windshield is cracked, here is a dent on the door, ent in the rear under the tail light, ent on the front fender.
