1974 Jaguar XJ6

Jaguar XJ6 . This car has had the Chevy 350 conversion. It ran when I bought it but when it was delivered it would not start. Previous owner filled the tank before delivery. . I found water and rust in the tank. Did he get the dregs from the gas station? I don't know. I replaced the passenger side tank with a new tank and sending unit. You will need to finish hooking up the gas line and put a carburetor on it. Obviously it is not running whithout a carb but I did a compression test on it and it was 160 psi across the board. It appears to have been a crate motor.Body has some rust here and there but there are no holes rusted all the way through. Odometer says 50K miles but I would say probably more like 150K based on overall condition. Tires have OK tread. Interior is on poor candition. Wood on dash is intact but Varnish has peeled off. This is a project car, or good for parts, as the price reflects.
