Description:

1958 Jaguar XK

This is a very worthy project. Matching numbers engine block and head as well as the rest of the vehicle. This was an original very desirable British Racing Green with green suede interior according to the included Jaguar Heritage report (see pictures). As a side note it was the only one ever imported to Iran and was purchased by an American serviceman who brought it back to the states.
It seems to be complete minus the drivers door panel which you'd replace anyway. It has Overdrive as noted on the Heritage Certificate and VIN tag DN. The engine is NOT stuck and turns over. There are areas of rust like the inside rear panel and other areas but most importantly the frame has surface rust but is solid. The basic structure of the fenders front and rear quarters are overall solid with the rust more on the interior connecting panels. The trunk floor and front rear floors need replacing and all parts are available. Drivers door is good.Bottom of passenger door has rust. The trunk lid and bonnet are structurally sound. The odometer shows 46,610 miles which the previous owner thought original. I'm making no claims but could very well be correct as it has been sitting in a garage for over 35 years. This is a total restoration project but again worth it when finished. I prefer you see the car or have someone see it for you. I am hiding nothing and will answer any questions to the best of my knowledge. I will assist with overseas shipments if desired. This is a beautiful car restored especially in its original color combination as seen in the last picture which is not this car but what this Jag could and should be.
