I AM REDUCING THE SIZE OF MY BRITISH CAR COLLECTION, SO THIS IS A RELUCTANT SALE
1958 JAGUAR XK 150 FHC,
This car has been with a 3.8 Liter XK Engine and a Tripple SU Carb set-up but is not a true S Model. It was also fitted with a fully synchronized 4 speed, electronic overdrive manual transmission
I have owned the car for about 4 years, it ran strong, does not smoke,shifts, steers and braked well when I first purchased it. About 2 years ago a took it off the road to perform some maintenance on the brakes, clutch, fuel pump and heater core which all developed leaks. Then life got in the way and it has not been on the road since.
It needs a brake, clutch and fuel pump service and the heater core, brake, clutch and fuel lines replacedThe brake calipers pads and the clutch plate are all fine, it needs new brake and clutch lines and a new master cylinder(s)
I have a replacement heater core and brake cylinder that go with the car
The car is straight, the chrome is in good condition except for some small dents in the passenger door chrome window frame. The glass is good and the interior is also in good condition
The chrome wheels and tires are in great shape
The only rust that I have found on the car is in the battery compartment, someone must have left a leaking battery in the car at some point in the past
The car rolls and steers but cannot be driven in its current condition....the car is being sold in as-is condition
This car is priced to sell and should be considered a non-running project car with tremendous potential for someone that is prepared to put some work and a small amount of cash into the car
