In the video the engine is being supplied water via a garden hose, so contrary to how it looks it was being cooled as it ran. It is loud because there is no exhaust connected to the factory exhaust manifolds.
I had a mechanic redo the head and rebuild the carbs, but the little starter carb needs to be replaced. This car is rough, but very complete (except for the calipers). I have many of the brake parts: They came in a box when I bought the car. Floors have large holes up front. Trunk floor is rotted out. doors have rot. The car cannot be driven due to the lack of brakes, but I strapped this car to another and was able to pull the other car in forward and reverse so "drive" and "reverse" work on the trans. The car has a good radiator and grill (though there is some chrome pitting). The seats are mostly just springs. Headliner and visors are shredded. Door panels are there but will need work. My storage space is tight and required me to store things in the car so sorry for the poor photos.

I would like to sell this whole, but will consider parting it, though I do not want to sell tiny hard-to-find parts first. I need offers on the more expensive parts before I will sell the small stuff.

Odometer reads 12k, but mileage is unknown. It is interesting that the car has Armstrong tires with almost no treadwear. The cars left the factory with Armstrong tires and the seller told me a lengthy story of how this car only had 12k original. I doubt the story is true, but it is striking how little wear there is on the tires, and gas and brake pedals, for example.
I reserve to cancel sales that are unpaid within 48 hours.
