It has been Meticulously maintained.

It's pretty hard to describe a vehicle when it's this nice. This is the last year of this body style on the XJS and it is a favorite of many people. Everything on the car is original except for the tires. This car has very little to sort out to be absolutely perfect. With only 36,000 miles it's easy to see that it has always been garage kept. It was purchased in 1990 in Virginia by a woman from the Richmond area. The second owner bought the car in 1994 with 23,000 miles on it and it moved to the Cleveland Heights area of Cleveland. He put 13,000 miles on the car in 24 years. I am the 3rd owner and I purchased it from the Estate sale of that second owner. I actually purchased it at his home and he had a beautiful heated garage. That was about a year ago. The bad news for me is that I have the possibility of losing my garage so I have been selling things to downsize. The cosmetics are almost perfect. There are some very small chips and flaws as would be expected. If something looks like a chip in a photo, it's not. It's a flaw in the photo. The actual few small items most likely would have to be pointed out to you. It is a stunning head turner and would be truly amazing with a professional detail. The top, boot, etc. all look absolutely new as does the leather interior. I'm not gonna really go on, the car is beautiful front to back and underneath. No rust, no body repair, almost perfect. The car comes with all of the original papers and a nice cover. Now, the stuff that needs sorted out. It did received all of the milestone services (1000 mile, 7500 mile, etc.) at authorized Jaguar dealers in Virginia and Ohio. You can drive it anywhere right from my door and it is fast, quiet and tight. There is a light shimmy at 30 ish MPH that is an obvious wheel balance issue. It shakes out and is never felt again at any other speed and is a super quiet smooth cruiser at higher speeds. The AC either needs serviced, or I don't know how to operate it. This car also has a massive factory stereo in it that requires a security code to unlock it. The last owner was in a nursing home and could not recall the code. Jaguar keeps records of the codes but requires you to provide the radio chassis number. It was on my long list to get the dealer to get me the number. Not my comfort zone to pull radios out. Amazingly, that's either it or I can't think of anything else. I only put around 300 miles on the car but it was a blast. The car is simply amazing for a 28 year old antique. The photos should tell the rest of the story. Feel free to contact with questions. I am downsizing so am not open to trading right now. The title is clear and in my possession. If I sell to a local buyer, I will stop this listing immediately. Thanks for looking. P.S. There is a Jaguar Festival September 6th & 7th at Watkins Glen NY. This car would rock that show.
