If you do your homework on this car and your a car person you will want to own this jaguar.Replace the hood ornament with the original one (see pic.) and be 100% original in appearance. I've owned and driven this car for almost 4years.Having restored and driven corvettes 1972 and older for many years at age 72 with back problem could no longer get in and out of a corvette without much difficulty.The Jag solved the problem.I recently decided to upgrade the motor to a 350 cid crate 300 hp with an old school ignition system that I'm familiar with and do away with the GM ECM and all its sensors.With the new system all is needed is to connect 9 wires to the jag harness and every thing works as it does now including jag tach,speedo and on board fuel computer.In the past 12k miles 4new late 88 stock wheels, tires, AC comp,alternator ++++++.If your interested you need to come and see this car or at least call me at (old cell#) 609 273 3671 NO TEXTS.Homework Hess Isenhardt coach co.Jaguar commissioned them to convert less than 2k units from 87 thru 88 I have there assembly book It was so extensive you could almost say the car was hand built.This put Jaguar back in the convertible business.Jaguar added a back seat later that kept the conv. top to a almost flat position. Hess cars look 100% better with top down. Unable to finish upgrade back/neck issues have worsened. I could go on&on call me. PLEASE Bid TO OWN NOT to Look AT.
