You are viewing an excellent example of an unrestored original survivor. I've owned it since 1993, and am responsible for its care and condition. It's one of those cars, that strikes you when you see it, as it struck me the moment I saw it. In this color of Jade Green, with matching Jade Green interior, there isn't and wasn't a better combination available. Please look at the photos, and see if you agree. I thought I would never sell it, however, I rarely use it, and maybe there's somebody who will. I don't feel right, letting it sit, and having too many cars in my collection is becoming an issue. So, if you're looking for the best 4.0 XJS, I have it, and in a moment of weakness, I'm letting it go. I should also let you in on a little secret of mine, the 12 cylinder version of this car, doesn't hold a candle to the 4.0. The twin cam straight 6, is Jaguar's claim to fame, that made its debut in the XK120, and continued through the E-Types, until they shot themselves in the foot, with that... awful 12. This Jag is still a pleasure to drive, always cared for, and 100% original, with no paintwork or accident history. Carpeting is still perfect, and has only been vacuumed and never wet. Look around, I don't think you'll find a better one. I'm going to go out on a limb, and list it with no reserve, as I think great cars will find the right owners.
The only incident reported on this vehicle, was by me in October of 1994, for theft of the radio and spare tire, which was replaced at the dealer in Naples.
