1963 Jaguar E-Type

Full rotisserie restoration, built to emulate one of the 12 Factory Lightweights, of which one sold by Bonhams at Scottsdale in January 2017 for $7,370,000.
This car was restored by Mike Harris, former owner of L.W.R.Ltd, at Heritage Motorsports, Clearwater, Florida, USA [see featured article in Vintage Motorsport, March/April 2017 edition]. Mike also restored the Ken Baker E-Type now competing at the Goodwood Revival.
Painted in Ecurie Ecosse blue, the car has matching numbers, original gearbox can go with the car, if required.
BodyNew floors, rockers, boot floor, rear quarters, door skins, closing panels etc. Bonnet composite lightweight style with extra louvers, side opening catches and brake ducts. Boot lid with vent. Works hardtop with vent. Rear wheel arches taken out and raised to take 8" L/W pattern wheels. Front arches raised to take 7".
InteriorLightweight style seats trimmed in black leather with blue stitching. Trim panels made in aluminium trimmed in black vinyl. Bolt in roll bar.
MotorBuilt by Bill Terry, WAD cams, polished, ported, balanced. Weber 45s. F.I.A. approved stainless steel exhaust. Large capacity aluminium radiator and header tank.
SuspensionAdjustable shocks, rear having adjustable ride height, uprated springs. Uprated front sway bar. Competition torsion bars. Adjustable reaction plate. 4 pot front caliphers.
GearboxNew Tremec T5 5-speed.
