Description:

1958 Jaguar 3.4 L saloon

NO RESERVE!!

1958 Jaguar MK I with a Chevy 4.3L V-6, 700R AT, PS, PB, AC, re-cored radiator with electric cooling fan, Sanderson headers, leather seats, AM/FM CD radio, tinted windows and a Wood Steering Wheel.

It has been rewired and has an alternator and neutral ground. The VIN is S987486DN, less than 62,000 miles (see picture) current Alabama registration and a clear Tennessee title. It started life as a Mark I, 3.4, manual O/D transmission.I bought it 8 years ago and built it as a daily driver. Paint is not in wonderful condition but looks OK. There is no significant rust only very few small rust pimples where rust has started to form. No undercarriage rust. All chrome is there. All windows and lights are in working and leather seats are in great shape.Rebuilt transmission has less than 50 miles on it, new master cylinder, reworked booster, rebuilt brakes. There are lots of small spare parts, an Owner’s Manual and a Parts & Service Manual on CD.

It is probably the only MK l on the road within 500 miles of Huntsville, AL. Yes, could use a little TLC and a but is a fun car to drive almost anywhere. The parking brake system was rebuilt but not re-installed because exhaust pipes were installed in the way. It really gets a lot of attention and was a hit when I played chauffeur for my grandson for his Military Ball and his date. I've had my fun, it's time for it to go to a new home.
