Forman Motorworks is pleased to offer for sale this striking 1969 Jaguar E-Type Roadster. This vintage Jaguar was treated to a comprehensive $50k restoration in 2012. All European Classic & Modern in Las Vegas, evada performed the work and we have the detailed list of what was done. This British icon starts, uns, nd drives great. We have the Operating, aintenance and Service Handbook, s well as a large chart for fluids, ervice, nd lubrication. Also available is a detailed list of items addressed during the restoration process. The paintwork, hrome, lass, nd trim all show exceptionally well. The panel and door gaps are as good as or better than when it left the factory in 1969. Jaguar only imported 8,630 Series II E-Type Convertibles to the U.S. between 1968 and1970.
A 4.2 Liter Inline 6-Cylinder with over 265hp motivates this piece of rolling art down the road with aplomb. The original dual carburetor setup has been upgraded to triple SU carburetors, iving it extra power and more response. The 4-speed gearbox shifts precisely and the clutch operates smoothly. It stops aggressively using 4-wheel disc brakes and the Independent front & rear suspension translates to exceptional handling. This example originally wore a Burgundy exterior with a black interior and top. During the restoration the decision was made to change it to the ideal British Racing Green exterior, omplimented by a Biscuit interior & top.
