THIS RARE XK 150 WAS BOUGHT FROM ITS ORIGINAL OWNER BACK IN 1966 AND HAS BEEN IN THE SAME OWNERS HANDS SINCE THEN.BOUGHT AS A GRADUATION PRESENT FOR HIMSELF, E DROVE AND ENJOYED UNTIL 1972.IN 1972 HE HAD IT PUT INTO STORAGE UNTIL 1995.THEN IN 1995 HE HAD THE ORIGINAL MOTOR COMPLETELY OVERHAULED…AFTER REIGNITING THE PASSION OF ENJOYING THE CAR AGAI, HE CAR SUFFERED AT THE HANDS OF HURRICANE FLOYD IN 1999….THE CURRENT OWNER KNEW HOW SPECIAL THE CAR WAS AND STARTED A FULL RESTORATION IN 2000.

THE RESTORATION CONSISTED WITH AN “OFF FRAME” TO REPLACE THE FRAME FROM THE MIDDLE TO THE REAR DUE TO FLOOD DAMAGE…THEN THE CAR WAS MOVED TO A LOCAL RESTORATION SPECIALIST IN NEWPORT, ELAWARE IN 2006.THE BODY WAS PUT BACK ON THE FRAME AND EXTENSIVE BODY WORK WAS COMPLETED INCLUDING REPLACING METAL, OME LEAD WORK AND PAINT.THE INTERIOR WAS COMPLETELY REDONE WITH NEW FORMS, EW CARPET AND NEW VINYL UPHOLSTERY…

OLDER PAINT SHOWS VERY WEL, UT IS DRIVER QUALITY.SOME IMPERFECTIONS AND CRACKING IN THE PAINT ON THE DOORS- BUT OVERALL VERY NICE.

MOSTLY ORIGINAL CHROME / BRIGHTWORK DOES SHOW AGE AND PITTING.SOME TRIM IS MISSING AROUND THE WINDSHEILD.

VERY SOLID FLOORS, IREWALL AND TRUNK.

INTERIOR IS VERY CLEAN WITH WORKING GAUGES.

CAR RUNS AND DRIVES VERY WELL.HANDBRAKE DOES NOT WORK.IT MAY OVERHEAT IN SLOW TRAFFIC AND HOT WEATHER- WOULD RECOMMEND AN ADDITIONAL ELECTRIC FAN.
