1969 International Harvester Other

I have no early history on this old Cornbinder, but for a number of years it has been working in the Oregon woods as a fire tender, carrying a water tank and pump for a couple of forest-product operations. It has bumps and bruises in places where there aren't even places. No, the paint is not original, nor is it the original color. Certainly, at some point in time, the rig has seen pavement, but you would hardly call its 88,640 miles 'highway miles'. Keep in mind, this rig was still in service up until just a few years ago....
Truck is a 4-speed manual; V-8 engine is presumed to be a 345. Starts, runs, drives. I have only jockeyed the truck around my property. Brakes work; hard pedal(Hmm... I should check brake fluid). Oil pressure is good, per the dash gauge, as is the charging system, per dash ammeter.
Windshield is near perfect; flat glass has 'etching' spots, as from a shower of welding sparks maybe? Minimal rust and plastic, and my magnet says cowl and cab corners are rust free. Nice set of tires; two are practically new. Dash pad is as crispy as the driver's seat. Glove box is intact. I believe it needs a new VENTED gas cap; details upon request....
Clean, clear, unbranded, properly-released Oregon title. Tags are expired.
