For sale is a 1985 IH S1700 with the 9.0 V8 diesel motor. The truck is in very rough condition and the frame is rusty so it would be good for parts only or off road use. The truck does run and drive but it is again in rough shape. The motor startsright up with the key and sounds good. The motor smokes a little when you first start it but I believe this a good solid engine. The transmission shifts good and rear seems good. The cab and frame are both very rusty. The truck would take way to much work to put it back on the road but it would be good for Off Road use or maybe you just need a good motor. The drive train is to good to just scrap the truck so please do not offer me scrap price. The GVWR is 32,000 lbs and the truck weighs about 8000 lbs the way it sits now.
