1973 International Harvester Other

This 1973 International 1210 4x4 started its life as a service truck with a service bed. It was worked moderately for 20 years and then was purchased by a private party at which time the service bed was removed and a standard bed took its place. The truck was ordered with a few rare options. First being the Lock-o-Matic hubs which allow you to engage the transfer case into four wheel drive and will automatically lock the hubs in as long as you are going forward. For more serious conditions the hubs will need to be manually locked in. The second rare option is the cable controlled single speed transfer case. The rest of the options are the ones you hope for in an older four wheel drive and those are power steering and power brakes. The rest of the power train consists of a two barrel 345 V8, T19 four speed transmission, Dana 44 front axle with tie rod protector, and a Dana 60 rear axle with power lock differential. The truck was repainted about 15 years ago. It's not a show quality paint job but is very acceptable. The truck had some rust issues that were taken care of when the truck was painted but the tail gate could use some attention. The bed is fully rhino lined and shows no ware. The truck has had a recent tune up and brake work, no excessive smoke upon starting this truck up as is normally typical upon higher mileage IH's. As you can tell from the pictures, the overall condition of the truck is quite good. It's a pleasure to drive and is very tight too. If you've been look for a later body style International pick up but have been finding that they have been jacked up, beat on, or just so rusty there isn't enough money in your wallet to buy it, ship it, and fix it, then this is for you! Bid with confidence, this is a nice truck. Now for my rules for this auction. I will not end auction early. I feel it's unfair for people who want a fair chance to bid only to find it's been sold early. Winner of this auction must pay for truck in full no later than 3 days ( 72 hours ) after auctions end via bank to bank transfer only . It's the safest and best way for both parties that's why I'm doing it this way. I will assist transport company in getting the truck to a local pick up point for the transport company. Have fun bidding and good luck.
