Out of Southern California comes this Rare Dbl Rear Window Cab 1954 R100 Short Box IHC Patina Shop Truck.
Truck has a Camaro front clip installed, Power Front Disc Brakes, Power Steering, GM Tilt Column,'89 5.0 Liter Chevrolet V8 with GM TBI & PCM, Automatic Transmission w/Overdrive,10 Bolt Chevrolet Rear Differential, Rear Mounted Fuel Tank w/Electric Fuel Pump.
New...Glass, Interior, Gauges & Sending Units, Electric Wiper Motor, Weather Stripping,Tires, Driveshaft. All New GM Sensors, Aluminum Distributor, Aluminum Intake Manifold, Aluminum Finned Rocker Covers, Aluminum High Flow Water Pump & Alternator w/Serpentine Belt.
Air Conditioning is ready to go... needs an Evap Blower and Hoses! Old under dash mounted unit.....blew ice cold but removed to relocate battery and wanted a new vintage unit.
Charles Peckat Mfg Visor keeps the Cab well shaded and the rear air shocks come in handy when loading the Beer Kegs in the bed!
Truck has a Kick Ass Pioneer/Rockford Fosgate Stereo System w/Remote, Amp and Sub-woofer energized by an Optima Blue Top Deep Cycle 1000 CCA Battery.
The IHC retains its 64 year old "pair" of 1954 California Commercial License Plates along with the trucks Operational Manual, Service Parts Catalog, Fender Mounted Spare Tire Bracket & Vintage Tire. Bolts right up!
Clean bed No Rust....some textured roll on liner still needs to be removed from beds floor.
IHC's ingenious idea... the hood props open from Left or Right side or the option to unlatch both sides and lift entire hood off truck....great option when working on truck.
A lot of money and work has already been done to this truck. You won't see another Corn Binder on the road like this one. At car gathering the truck gets a lots of attention especially comments on the unique Texaco Advertising graphics.
Included is a binder full of "All" receipts and work done to the pickup over the years!
"All" the gauges, lights and turn signals work. A few steel patch panels have been welded in place.... drivers side lower cab corner, front fascia around the turn signals and frame opening for bumper. A new roll tube welded on lower tailgate.
Leaks a little trans fluid from rear tail...a small drip pan does the trick! Never installed door locks its always garaged!
The Truck is Solid and Super Cool... runs great...very reliable.... the little V8 has plenty of get up and go and powers the truck around town with ease!
Trucks Original VIN is intact and on a clean California Title!
