Description:

1953 International Harvester Other R110 SHORT BED

1953 INTERNATIONAL R110 RARE SHORT BED PICKUP. I PERSONALY PURCHASED TRUCK ABOUT 5 YEARS AGO AND USED IT FOR MAINTANANCE TRUCK FOR A SMALL BEACH COMMUNITY.

TRUCK RUNS AND DRIVES GOOD, BURNS NO OIL OR SMOKE. ALL LIGHTS IN WORKING ORDER INSIDE AND OUT, AS IS THE HORN AND RADIO. ALL GUAGES (OIL, TEMP, AND BATTERY) WORKING EXCEPT FOR THE GAS GUAGE WHICH I BELIEVE THE CONNECTION CAME OFF ON THE TOP OF THE TANK. TIRES GOOD AND BRAKES WORK FINE.

BODY IS GOOD HAS PAINT CHIPS AND SOME BUBBLING. SOME AREAS OF OLD REPAIRS BUT TO BE HONEST IT REALLY IS GOOD FOR ITS AGE. FLOOR BOARDS ARE FINE WITH NO HOLES AS IS THE BED ITSELF. THE UNDER CARRIAGE IS VERY CLEAN WITH NO FRAME ROT. MUFFLER WAS REPLACED ABOUT 4 ½ YEARS AGO AS WELL AS THE BATTERY, FUEL PUMP (ELECTRIC AND A BIT NOISY WHEN FUEL IS LOW) AND WATER PUMP.

TRUCK STARTS RIGHT UP AND IDLES GREAT. SLIGHT VALVE TICK BUT NEVER DID ANYTHING ABOUT IT. SOMETIMES CARB BACKFIRES WHEN COLD BUT OTHER THAN THAT THIS TRUCK IS AND WAS A GREAT WORK TRUCK FOR ME! I NO LONGER NEED IT SO SELLING IT NOW.

  • TRUCK IS NOT A TEN,,, BUT A SOLID VINTAGE TRUCK!

  • A GOOD TRUCK TO LEAVE AS IS OR RESTORE.

  • GREAT PROMO FOR LOCAL FARM OR STORE!

ALL GLASS IS PRESENT BUT DRIVERS SIDE WINDOW FELL OFF TRACK AND IS IN THE DOOR.

HOOD IS A TWO SIDED LIFT AND IS A BIT AWKWARD TO KEEP UP BUT COMES RIGHT OFF IF YOU NEED TO WORK ON MOTOR OR CLEAN.

THREE ON THE TREE SHIFT ON COLUMN WHICH WORKS WELL NOW AND AGAIN SHE MIGHT POP OUT OF SECOND WHEN FIRST SHIFTED INTO IT WHICH IS THE LINKAGE AND JUST NEEDS ADJUSTMENT.

ANY QUESTIONS?
