1964 Interntional Harvester Scout 80 4x4
1964 International Harvester Scout
Up for grabs is a 1964 Scout 80PROJECT I do not know much about it but ill do my best to describe it to the best of my ability. Scout runs and drives good considering how old it is. Starts right up even in the coldest weather has a manual choke that works great. 4wd engages and works great has twin-stick transfer case. As far as drivability it seems dependable will need tires. Speedometer & Odometer are not working so miles are Unknown. Temp gauge does dot work gas gauge is working for drivers-side tank other side has been un-tested. Scout is quiet and not burning oil and seems to be leak free. All lights seem to work but you do have to hold blinker switch to use signals. Horn does not work. Body of scout is rough and needs work has quite a bit of BONDOcovering a lot of spots on body some looks to be covering dents and some rust holes. Hood is latched with bungee straps as some one has cut hood and installed IHemblem where hood pin was located.Interior is shot seats need re-covered. Heat works when it wants as blower motor sounds sick. Only one wiper works and is slow. Frame is solid see pictures for rust in floor boards. Was originally white all glass is good. This scout needs restoration and is a project but I do not have the time or money to invest. Hard- top may be offa scout 800 according to my neighbor as there is no cut-outs for wiper motors.
