1970 International Harvester Scout

1970 Scout 800A custom restoration. SEM Hot Rod silver paint. Built IH 304. T-19 close ratio 4 speed, ocked dana 44 rear, cout II dana 44 front with trakloc. Scout II power steering, ower brakes and hydraulic clutch. Tires are 35" BFG mud terains on american racing wheels, ew brakes with new stainless brake lines. Build by Brent Jackson Customs for personal use. This not a frame off resoration, did not think it was necessary for a off a road truck i was planning on using for everyday driving, lthough everything I could access is completly restored. Fortunately started with a very solid body no rust through anywhere on it, he body was completly media blasted except for underside then sealed, prayed on bedliner, odyworked, rimed and painted in SEM hot rod silver for easy repairs if you scratch it. The car had a very straight body, ery little damage, ou will have a hard time finding one this straight. Restored window regulators, oor latches, eater, teering column with grant wheel. Installed electric windsheild wiper conversion. Interior is completly dynamatted, he wiring harness was redone and modified for new stewart warner gauges and custom stereo system. Custom storage console with cup holders fit in between Procar seats with 3 point juiliano's seat belts. Custom hurst shifters. Has all new poly body mounts and leaf spring bushings, ll new body rubber. Custom built roll bar and front bumper and winch mount. Axles are scout II front dana 44 completly rebuilt with trakloc dif and 373 gears, pring over conversion with cut and turned 6 degrees of castor and shackle reversal with scout II springs, lat top knuckles with cross over steering. Rear Axle is locked with 3.73 gears and spring over conversion with double cardan driveline. Edelbrock Shocks front and rear. Engine block was decked for 9.1 compression, eads ported, omp cams 268 cam, tans headers, ustom curved dist with igniter modual, ustom built intake with holley 570 street avenger carb. Easy lifting hood with gas struts. Custom front grille. Custom 2 1/2 dual exhaust. Right rear mounted Optima group 31A battery. many other custom touches. I can build a the rear bumper if buyer wants. This is not a hard core rock crawler that you want to beat up, t is a very capable off road truck and very comfortable to drive on the street and is a one of a kind offroad hot rod. Why do I want to sell it? I have the builders addiction and need to build something else. I cant keep them all.
