Description:

19880000 Hummer Other M998 HMMWV

1988 M998 HMMWV

Great running truck, otor starts with ease, very time. Recent full service by US Army (31100 miles) and fluid change by me at 31140 for general purposes.

Truck is from Ft Hood, exas, o salt damage or rust underneath anywhere. Great deer lease truck, r around town toy!

6.2l Detroit Diesel and 3L80 (THM 400) transmission, ll work great shifts smooth and the motor sounds perfect. I know these diesels and this one is in great condition, o blowby, o leaks, ood power.

I have sourced the soft top kit and paint for it, ut need to sell it due to medical issues and the need of a new over the road truck.

Awaiting SF97 from government (go figure it takes them forever for anything) I have insurance through geico for $38 a month and there is no issue registering it in Texas. If I get the form I will have it registered before the auction ends, therwise I will help whoeve buys it get it registered (in Texas).

I will NOT sell to a non-US Citizen, hip anywhere, r take payments. It fits on a U-Haul car trailer PERFECTLY and it is the buyers responsibility to take it home.

Feel free to ask any questions. EDIT Just to be clear, do have a reserve on it, dont need help selling it, nd its worth the reserve. Ill be putting a 2 man soft top on this week probably and may start painting it. The REALLY sad thing is, his old HMMWV is the most dependable vehicle (and only one that doesnt leak) in my driveway right now, ncluding the 2012 Mustang... Thank you
