Description:

1979 Honda Civic cvcc

I'm sad to see it go, ut happy to get my garage back. Selling my 1979 Honda Civic CVCC. It runs and drives. The 1.5L 3bbl does not smoke, ut the engine does lack power. It has to be driven with the choke on the first notch. It has 164,000original miles and is a very complete for its age car. It has all theaccessoriesthat Honda could offer for 1979. This includes Air Conditioning, he 6 spoke rally rims, unroof (not moon roof), ruise Control, he five speed manualtransmission with oak steering wheel and shift knob, nd the tachometer with the rally style temp and fuelgauge. I do not know theconditionof the AC system other than the fan for the AC in the cabin does work but squeaks. The front rims have brand new tires on them bought online and installed by Les Schawb. The fourth 6 spoke rim is in the spare tire slot (see pictures). I put in a brand new battery, nd confirmed that the electrical system works properly as well as all of the lights on the car. The only thing not stock Honda about this car is the exhaust. When I got the car it had been cut off just above the flex pipe under the car. I took the car to a local fab shop and had them put me anaftermarketmuffler on just to make it street legal. I've replaced the driver side front wheel bearing and seals, s well as the fuel filters on the car. I have rebuilt the carb and put brand new floats in it. The carb is adjusted to honda spec but without dipping the carb I'm just not sure I got itcompletelyclean. The carb will need work. On the inside of the car the dash has a few cracks, one of them are big but they are there. The choke knob and locking ring are missing, ut the rest of the knobs in the car are still there. The side vents in the dash are missing but I do have an entire dash board that goes with the car. The drives seat is torn (see pictures) toward the door side of the seat, nd the adjustment for the seat back doesn't like to return to the full up position. The shift pattern is missing out of the oak knob, ut all in all both oak items are in good shape. The drivers side inside door panel has a small rip where the window arm has rubbed on it. Therear viewmirror isn't in the car but I do have it. The dome light is both missing the cover and bolts to hold it up. The rear seat has a small tear but is mostly just dirty. Both rear side panels are in good shape as well as the paneling on the inside of the hatch. The drivers side carpet is chewed up, ut the rest of the carpet in the car is in good shape. On the outside of the car there is a ding in the passenger side rear quarter panel right in front of the tail light. All of the rust on the car is surface rust where the paint has chipped off. the car coulddefinitelyuse a paint job. The emblem on the hatch is missing, ut I have a spare hatch the comes with the car. The nuts that hold the bumper shells on are missing, ut I've had no trouble with them staying on. The rubber weather strips on the roof on gone but the metal clips are still there. I've never tried to open the sun roof, ut the glass is good and all of the latches are there. This car has a clean title in my name. I have a bunch of extra stuff that comes with this car, oxes of interior pieces such as rear panels, ail lights, teering wheel, eat belts. I also have a complete set of doors and a hatch, s well as awindshieldand hatch glass. I also have a box with extra side window glass, ome have latches on them.Definitelybring a truck and trailer to pick this car up, here will be a lot of extras. if you have questions about the car, essage me though ebay and I'll send you a number to get a hold of me at.
