Up for sale is my 1990 Honda CRX HF 5spd. The car is garage kept, very nice and well taken care of. It's hard to find one in this condition. I'm asking $4,125 OBO. NO TRADES! *Clean FL title in my name* $20-$25 for a full tank of gas.
Motor - approx 130k miles, pm7 piston built d16y8, skunk 2 throttle body, eBay header, skunk 2 alpha radiator
Trans - stage 2 clutch and light weight flywheel
Suspension/brakes - Megan pro series coilovers, suspension techniques sway bars front and rear, goodridge steel braided brake lines, Si rear disc conversion with Si proportioning valve, ebc green pads, drilled slotted rotors
Tires - very light 15" focal rims wrapped in Falken azenis
Exhaust - full brand new Thermal Research exhaust (sounds nice)
Interior - fake recaro seats, real type R steering whee, real sparco 4 point harness, professionally installed and welded in roll cage, basic cd player with aux, windows roll up/down with no problem (common flaw in Honda's), NO AC
Body - has 68,608 miles on the shell (may go up some as I drive it), paint was done professionally (original color was white), jams and all, 90-91 tail lights, headlights are bright (not dull)
Recent work: radiator flush, fuel pump, fuel filter and 4 wheel alignment, OEM mudflaps ($300) - have receipts as proof
Overall, the car is in good condition. CLIMATE CONTROL is NOT cracked, which is a common issue with CRX's. The car is over 20 years old so there are some minor blemishes. There are 2 very small rust spots. The car is registered and insured, drives great and is my daily driver. I have driven it a 3 hour one way trip with no issues so it is very reliable.
The reason I am selling the car is because there is a slight idle issue and first gear went out recently. It's still driveable. All the other gears work fine you just take off in 2nd, lol. I do not have the time or money to deal with this issue. Even though it's a very fun car to drive and a head turner, this car is better for someone who knows about CRX's.
