Description:

1993 Honda Del Sol

Selling my girlfriend's 1993 Honda Del Sol for her. It has approximately 72k miles, red exterior, black interior, targa top, automatic, pw, ac, cd player with navigation and hands free bluetooth, alloy wheels, good Michelin tires, clean in and out, new muffler, runs and drives good, currently registered and inspected in RI. We do not have the title in hand but it is clear.
There are not too many of these around anymore. Reason for sale: It's our extra car and we just don't drive it often enough. This would be a cheap and reliable car to get from point A to B, that still looks good and can take the top off and have fun while you are at it.
With that said, please keep in mind, this car is still 23 years old so it is not perfect even though the mileage is low for the year. There a couple small dings and light scratches to the exterior. There are some scuffs to the interior but no seat rips and the radio unit could use a mounting kit as it is currently just sitting in the radio bay not held by anything (see picture).
I do have the Autocheck report available for those interested in seeing the report. I am not sure how to get it onto my listing but I can email the .pdf report version.
Issues with the car:1. The car has been in an accident before. She got rear ended over a year ago but was repaired. As you can see in the pictures they did a good job with the paint and body work.2. The top does leak a little bit on the top corner where front driver's door window and the small window behind the mirror.meet. There is a picture showing you water droplets inside. It's not that bad to me but it is annoying enough for anyone driving in the rain with water dripping onto your knee every minute or so. The door seal would probably need to be replaced to completely stop the drips. This seems to occur a lot with these targa tops but that is the only place it is leaking from.
3. There is a noticeable exhaust rattle on take off from a stop but the sound goes away rather quickly.
4. The interior squeaks a bit going down rough roads but I hear that is common to these del Sol's.
5. Probably could use a front end alignment, it pulls sometimes to the right.
I tried to describe as much as I could about this car. It is not mine, so I personally don't have much further details then what was described here from taking the time on my own to drive it.
Please review the pictures carefully and ask any questions you may have before bidding on the car.
I recommend you come personally take a look at the car and drive it.
