The Honda Beat is a mid engined "Kei" clas car built from 1991-1995 for the Japanese Domestic Market (JDM). Designed by Pininfarina and built by Honda, the sporty 2 seater features a mid enginewith triplethrottle bodies. It was reportedly the last car approved by Soichiro Honda before his death.
This example was built in April 1991 and legally imported from Japan earlier this year. The body is straight and free of any dents ordings. TheoriginalFestival Red paint is in very good shape and shines nicely. The underbody is in great condition and rust free. The interior is generally good condition. The door panels and carpets are in good condition. The stock zebra print "open air motoring" floormats are included. The stock steering wheel and shift lever have been replaced with MOMO units. The fuel filler cap, pedal covers and brake handlehas been replaced with a race style units. This car has optional alloy "phone dial" wheels in good condition with good tires.
The dash board has 4 small holes from a a dash mounted GPS screen. There is a wear and tear on the driver's side seat bolster. The original convertible top shows some wear and the window has some cloudiness.
The engine starts quickly and runs excellent. The 5 speed transmission shifts well and the clutch grips well. The steering and suspension are quick and tight. The power windows operate as they should. A/C works well and blows cold.
The car is an absolute blast to drive and gets tons of attention. Low miles and low reserve make this cool roadster yours!
