1947 GMC Other

Rare, Unique, One of maybe One or just ten - 1947/48 GMC Delivery Truck-
NO Title- Bill of sale onlyvehicle does have a serial number for getting a title.GMC Straight 6 same chassis as any farm truck in that eraI have researched and cannot find another nor even a picture. What little info I found is that it is a HERMAN bodied GMC built to order and every year had a new contract so the front ends change dramatically ford/chevy etc. Not certain if grill is correct it resembles a metro grill but looks factory mounted. Some features are a swivel seat and doors fold like a bus. Have not tried to get it running needs ignition parts plugs wires etc. This one appears to be used as a book truck. No internet back then they brought the library to you. Check out the mini rear fenders. no others have this
Very little rust issues bottom of folding doors appears to be it, the rest is Rock Solid Thick Carnegie Steel.Interior and floor is Solid and not hacked up.From an industrial/tank standpoint she is straight. anything you see that looks like rust is just surface rust. The only real dent work is a few dings on the rear doors and tail pan "dock dings"
Its really cool and unique everybody else has a Metro- Don't want to Sell but have other projects..
Buyer arranges shipping -you will need something with a good wench.
