The Youtube video listed above is of the truck before I owned it. There is well over $20k invested after this video was taken. I have many receipts. I have owned it for a few years so the truck has been driven and used some but still looks great. You can also google 1983 GMC stepside and click images. You will find this truck at the top of searched picks. Which I think is a good thing. It was marketed at some point before I bought it.
This truck has been restored and functions exceptionally well; although it is not perfect. It's priced more than 50% off invested. This is not a paint and sell truck.Rewired engine harness cost over $1000 to complete professionally. If you know, that's the most important part of a restore. You don't want to end up with a nice looking rod that catches on fire because the wiring was never replaced.
The interior has been redone with a middle console is a cooler for car shows and a headliner. There is also some LEO GLO lights for the interior.
The truck also has a new motor and transmission. The motor was done professionally and cost more than double what a crate motor costs. The Holly carb was professionallyinstalled CORRECTLY with metal tubing and not rubber hoses. Other restored/replaced items include: differential tires, re manufacturedsteering colum, balanced driveshaft, brakes, 3rd window gaskets as well as other gaskets, and windshield. The list goes on. This truck has been completed inside and out. The Flowmasters and light cam sounds great.
This truck is not just for looks but also drive ability. It's a daily driver if you can afford to feed it. You will get compliments and stares each time you drive it.

Note: When the roll pan was welded on they did not install a hole for drainage so the corners at the rear of the truck developed a little rust. I cut one side out and left the other so you can see what happened. I was planning on just cutting out the entire roll plan and putting a chrome bumper back on. I have decided to list it as is first. You should see in the pics of the rear tailgate. Left side is cut out. Right side has a little bubbling. Easy fix.
Mileage: Original mileage is unknown as the truck has been restored since. Title: Clear
