Steel wheels with Firestone Deluxe Champion wide whites and chrome GMC hubcaps. Dual rearview mirrors. Driver spot... lamp. This exceedingly difficult to find GMC truck is a 'Must See' to appreciate all the excellent work done on this classic. The mid-century pickup trucks are one of those timeless designs that look good no matter how the car is built. Stock, modified, hot-rod, whatever; the clean lines and balanced stance on these trucks create a tough appearance with a classic swagger. If you're ready to stand out with an iconic truck, this '51 GMC 100 Step-Side is for you. This GMC pickup truck is certainly an attention grabber and is drop-dead gorgeous in bright red. Inside, the cabin is also in excellent condition throughout. The seats are in excellent condition, the dash, fascia, gauges and controls, headliner glovebox, carpets, knobs, and lights are all correct and in excellent order. This step-side GMC presents in a most appealing fashion that makes it difficult not to fall in love with this 60+ year-old classic. The GMC brand from General Motors Truck and Coach, Pontiac, MI., descended from two trucks, Reliant and Rapid, acquired by the new General Motors Company (later Corporation) in 1908, plus heavy models that traced their origins to Yellow Truck and Coach, acquired by GM beginning in the 1920s. During the twenties, GMC became primarily a medium and heavy-truck producer, the Corporation dictating that the light truck business be largely reserved for Chevrolet. If a fully restored classic that's in outstanding condition throughout has made it to your short-list, then do yourself a favor and come check out this 1951 GMC 100 Pickup.
