Description:

1971 GMC Jimmy

I am listing my 1971 GMC Jimmy 4WD. I have done tons of work to it, but still needs finishing up. Here is a rundown of some of the things that have already been done.
Original 350 engine has been completely rebuilt with mild cam and roller rocker tips. electronic ignition, corvette center dump exhaust manifolds, edelbrock manifold and off road carb. New motor mounts. All components are new as well: alternator, fuel pump, power steering pump, water pump etc..
Brand new radiator with powder coated support and inner fenders. New hoses and belts all around.Factory A/C. I have all the components but it is not all installed.
350 automatic transmission completely rebuilt with new trans mount, trans lines and rebuilt linkage.
Transfer case gone through and new seals installed. (comes with original transfer case skid plate)
Front driveline rebuilt with all new u joints.
Brand new COMPLETE custom 3" exhaust installed. (Sounds Great!)
Brand new fuel tank installed with new regulator and gas lines. (factory gas tank skid plate restored and in place).
Brakes have been gone through. new master cylinder, front rotors and calipers. Rear drum hardware replaced and adjusted. All new rubber brake lines up front.
Front end COMPLETELY rebuilt. All new bushings, tie rods, draglink etc.... New steering stabilizer. 4 new RANCHO 5000 shocks
All new body mounts installed.
Brand new replacement front and rear bumpers.
Almost all of the rust has been replaced.New front floors and rockers.windshield frame repairedrear most edge of bed repaired.Drivers side rear quarter was repaired poorly so I purchased a brand new complete bedside (800.00) to fix that. It is NOT installed yet.
The Jimmy needs some metal work completed, fit and finish done before painting

Rear hatch cracks have been repaired. It needs finish work before being painted, so it is still disassembled. (I have all the hardware to put it back together again.)I have tons of new parts that go with it. see pictures. most of the replacement rubber, lots of new marker lights and running lights, new front bucket seat covers etc.. etc... etc...
New dash pad installed with new gauges and gauge cluster. ALL new bulbs and plastic pieces replaced. All new heater, defroster and A/C ducting (some installed).
I am sure I have left out lots of other things as well. This blazer runs well and can be driven as is. It has just sat in the garage and so I think it is time for someone more motivated than me to finish it up. Please look at all the pictures and ask all questions. This Jimmy is sold as is where is. I have a clean, clear title in my name. The personalized plates do NOT come with the vehicle.
