1972 GMC C10 1500 Sierra

Here's a 1972 GMC 1500 Sierra that has been restored to have a screaming small block V8 and great two-tone paint. While we know this one will have you instantly interested, once you check out the affordable price, you'll know this pickup is irresistible.
A vintage GMC 1500 is already a cool idea. After all, you'll always be welcomed by the GM enthusiasts and truck fans, but it also has a design that makes it distinctive in a crowd. That idea is amped up even further on a this freshly restored machine. The sheet metal looks great. Plus, the custom blue and silver two tone has the kind of solid investment in highly metallic paints that makes sure you'll always be proud when you see the sunshine hit this modern clear coat package. If that wasn't already sporty enough for you, a bold red pinstripe provides the dividing line around the whole body. The intimidation factory continues with the forward-leaning stance, 15-inch wheels, and the power bulge cowl hood. Add in the extra shine of GMC's larger grille, sport mirrors, and chrome bumpers, and you have one stellar muscle pickup.
Once you open the door, you can see the full quality in the paint job by how even the door jambs were properly completed. The metallic blue continues throughout the interior, and now it's joined by plenty of dark components. There are some nice updates like the Grant GT steering wheel, auxiliary gauges, and new carpeting to keep everything fresh, but we're particularly happy to see the bench seat remain original. It looks correctly restored so that the premium western-style texture that came from the factory is still in place. Another great classic feature is the sliding rear window. When combined with the side vent glass, you get to experience the old-school truck breezes through the cab... and it also gets you closer to the rumble of the dual exhaust.
Under the hood is more signs of a solid investment. Nestled within the brightly painted engine bay is an aggressive-looking 350 cubic-inch V8. With the blacked-out valve covers, red lettering, and a matching air topper, this one makes quite a first impression. But also the bright paint and plenty of shining components tells you this one is fresh. In fact, there's only about 30 miles on the small block since it came from VZ Racing Engines. They built this V8 with a .60 bored over kit, Eagle rods, flat top pistons, port matched aluminum heads, mild cam, a 9.5 compression (to run good on 93 octane gas), and topped it with an Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor. Ceramic coated headers add even more power as they contribute to the thunder of the Dynomax dual exhaust. The full package is rated around 350 horsepower or more. That's why it's mated to a TH350 three-speed automatic with a shift kit that was added when the motor was rebuilt. This feed the stout 12-bolt rear end running a versatile 3.08 gear. Plus, power steering, front disc brakes, and Cooper Cobra radials keep this muscle truck riding easy.
You would expect to pay a lot more for a fully restored truck like this, and if you're not quick enough to grab this one, you will! Call today!!!
