1966 GMC Suburban Sport Utility

1966 GMC Suburban Carry All

I recently acquired this fairly rare project. A 1966 GMC Suburban 2-Door Sport Utility. The odometer reads 74091 but no doubt it's turned over a time or two. It's not really in that bad of shape as far as rust goes. It has no motor but I have a 307 for it. It has a Power Glide Transmission, I believe to be good. The rear end is a 10-Bolt. It has an 1985 A-frame on the front end with Disc Brakes. I haven't had time to thoroughly check it completely, but from casual observation of it this is what I see.
BODY: Needs restoration, One broken flat glass on the driver side of the cargo area. moderate rust in the usual locations (door sill, above windshield, rear quarters). Front Fenders are good. the Hood is good, The rest of the front end is in the cargo area of the vehicle. I intend to put the front end back together as soon as I get time, unless it sells before I get time.
ENGINE: NONE at the present time.
TRANSMISSION: Power Glide (I was told it is good)
REAR END: 10 Bolt (I was told it is good)
INTERIOR: Needs complete restoration, has a front seat and the rest is cargo space.
