But that doesn’t mean it’s not collectible. This truck was designed as a Foam Unit strictly for airport use only. It only has 6000 miles on it and comes with many of rare attributes that make it fall in the realm of any collector looking for something different. It has the factory 6 Cylinder Big Block engine. It also has the very rare factory plaid valve covers.
This truck is larger than life. It is mostly all original and all the sirens and lights work as they should. The body has no rust with only minor scuffs and scratches. The chrome is bright and shines and the paint still show luster. The wheels and tires are in great shape and all the glass and lights and marker lights are clear and free of any damage. The engine is the 305 6 cylinder that runs perfect and has hardly any miles on it. It has a manual transmission. The valve covers are factory plaid design and from what we are told extremely rare for it to have original paint. It runs and drives excellent and sometimes is driven home so the kids in the neighborhood can have fun on it.
