1949 GMC Other Pickup

We bought this 1949 GMC around 5-6 years ago.It was being used as a coal truck in Ohio – thus the amber lights. It still had the original drive train in it, which I still have. This year we installed a 350 engine, power glide automatic transmission out of a 68 Nova and the Nova rear end.I had the power glide rebuilt with a new torque converter. It has new brakes all around including master cylinder and wheel cylinders. It has new 15” tires on Chevy 8” Rally wheels. They are installed under the Ford hubcaps. The whole bed is new and so is the floor. The paint is rust color primer with cream over it.It hit it with a grinder to give it the old rusty look. The inside is okay. All we did is install a 10” Locar automatic shifter and a rat rod gas pedal.I think the gauges work, but I need to check.I am taking it to the muffler shop on this coming week to have a new exhaust from manifold back. The pipes will turn down like on the Nova. The truck runs good and I just did a tune up on it.Did I mention the truck belongs to my wife – check out the tail gate! The artwork can be easily sanded off as I have not clear coated it.

I’m sure there are things that I have not mentioned. Please call me with any questions at 434-822-3946.

I am requiring a $500 nonrefundable deposit due to me within 48 hours of the close of the auction via cashier’s check. The balance is due within 7 days of the close of the auction. Please arrange to have the truck picked up within 10 days of the close of auction. The truck is located in Dry Fork, Pittsylvania County, VA 24549.
