1985 GMC Other Diablo
This 1985 GMC Caballero Diablo is a 2 owner California and Arizona car, sold new in Orange County, CA. It has been beautifully cared for and maintained and restored, it is 100% functional, and is as close to a new 1985 GMC Caballero as is possible to experience! It's TOTALLY LOADED with options, including DIABLO PACKAGE, FACTORY AIR, BUCKET SEATS, FLOOR SHIFT AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION, FRONT DISC BRAKES, CRUISE CONTROL, POWER STEERING, POWER DRIVER SEAT, POWER BRAKES, POWER WINDOWS, TILT WHEEL, FACTORY TINTED WINDOW, AM/FM CASSETTE, POWER DOOR LOCKS, REMOTE DRIVER MIRROR, PASSENGER MIRROR, FRONT AIR DAM, AND BLACKED OUT QUARTER WINDOW TRIM. . The Vault Classic Cars dealership is selling this car for an old friend of the family who needs the money to take care of his wife, who suffers from Alzheimer's disease. 100% of the sale price goes to my friend Bill to cover the costs of providing care to his wife. He never expected to sell it, and every bit of work he did on the car was done with the idea he would keep it forever. Sadly, he has to let it go. We're not taking a commission on the car, 100% of the money goes to Bill to support his wife. It's NOT
a tax deduction for the buyer, but you'll do more good for an actual Alzheimer's patient by buying this car than any organized charity will with the same money. Obviously, if it stays in California we'll have to collect Sales tax and DMV Fees and documentation fees. California Smog Check is Already done and passed. . The GMC Caballero Diablo is quite rare - it is estimated that only 2,503 of all Caballeros were built in '85, and the Diablo was the top of the line truck! And this is one of the best, if not THE best examples of this rare breed! The Black paint is deep and smooth, the bodywork arrow straight, the chrome plating bright and fresh. The engine was done with a factory GM crate engine, the 200R4 Automatic transmission was built by Art Carr Transmissions. It gives the appearance of a nearly new car! And the driving experience is the closest thing to driving out the showroom door as possible! Tight, quiet, smooth, and everything works including the clock! . Here's a photo of Bill in front of the 1985 GMC Caballero Diablo. He's giving up this car to help support his wife, who suffers from Alzheimer's disease. That's a tough moment for any car guy, and I give him a lot of credit for standing up and doing it. . It's absolutely beautiful everywhere! . And it's beautifully documented - there's the original owners manual and folio, the card from the selling dealer, Mike McCarthy Buick/GMC in Westminster, CA, the Service Manual, the much larger Service Information book, the original sales brochure, and a very large stack of receipts from the restoration and maintenance of the car. the top receipt is the new GM 350 V-8 crate engine, there are also receipts for the transmission, and many, many, many other items. Watch the Video to see it in action! . Here's what the factory had to say about the Diablo. It was the top of the line Caballero model. . Here's the original option tag sticker. . .
