Hi, you are looking at a 1988 GMC cab and chassis truck. It was restored from the frame up. Everything is new on the truck. The body of the truck has not been replaced for example cab corners or rocker panels. There is one patch on the driver side floor but done very clean and you can not tell unless you stare at it and are looking for it. The under side of the cab, radiator support, and inner fenders we all sand blasted and epoxy primed and then painted with a PPG chassis black paint. The exterior body has 2006 Chevy blue metallic paint code off of 2006 2500 HD and a metallic silver for the 2 tone. Base coat clear coat paint.
I just installed a brand new Hillsboro Series 2000 aluminum flat bed I purchased from a dealer in New Hampshire. The bed has all LED lighting. Also the bed has a built in 5th wheel hitch. It has a cover over so the bed is flat if you choose not to use the hitch. I installed the hitch plate. Made out of 1/2 steel. Reinforced the proper way (see picture). I put a 7 pin trailer plug receiver in the hitch plate and it is also wired. There is an accessory harness that I ran from the cab to the back with 4 accessory wires for additional lighting or whatever. One wire is wired to the trailer plug for an electric brake controller in the cab should someone choose to install one. The truck is brand new there is not one part that is not new. Most hardware in the truck is also new with either replacement bolts or stainless steel bolts. The truck is carbureted (was from the factor) I sent the original quadrajet carburetor out to a company in New Jersey called Carb USA and they restore carburetors back to the factory specs as well as fix any issues with them and also re anodize them the gold color. It does have an electric choke. It has a lifetime warranty on that as well.
I have a clean title for the vehicle. I have not registered it. Seeing that it is over 25 years old if I register it CT does not issue new titles so I would only have a registration to sell it with. I prefer to have the title. I am selling because I do not have a need for this truck as I have 3 brand new trucks. Also, would like the money to invest in a new business we are starting. The truck is a beautiful truck and time was taken to build. I have driven it a little bit and it does drive nice, little stiff but that is how the 80's trucks were.
