1989 Ford Mustang

I'm selling my 1989 Fox Body dream machine. I say that not because it is a perfect car or even a perfect representation of this car but, ecause driving it transports you to wherever your cool lives. This car gives you that 80s Montage epitome moment of driving into the sunset with "The Boys of Summer" playing as your very own live action theme song.
I'll just start out with the love the car needs and then I'll tell you about the love it's been shown for the past 8 years. Ready?
Okay, s you can imagine with a car of this age and unrestored it has some areas of need. The paint is original without any body work. The good is it isn't hiding any crazy bondo work. On the flip side the paint is starting to oxidize being a single stage paint job from the factory but, here is only one minor spot of rust on the rear trunk lid as this car is orignarly from California. You may have noticed the front bumper cover isn't exactly perfect, t needs a new one. The driver side headlight is out, hould be an easy fix. The passenger side electric lock and window regulator need replacing, mall fixes. The heater core leaks and has been bypassed. And finally it has all the little dings you would expect from a car that is 27 years old. It has lived a good life of being driven and used as all cars should, ot a garage queen.
Now for the nitty gritty good stuff, he goodies. It has in no particular order: H&R Racing springs, aximum Motorsports (4 Point Strut Tower Brace, ull length sub frame connectors, aster / camber plates, rake upgrade kit), ord Racing Factory Pony Wheels with BFG Super Sport tires, SBC Rotors, BK ( SSI twin plenum intake, ender well cold air intake, 0mm TB, igh flow fuel rail, djustable fuel regulator, uel pressure gauge, nder drive pulleys, mog pump delete bracket and pulley, ong tube 1 5 / 8 " primary headers, -pipe), lowmaster American Thunder Cat Back Exhaust with stainless steel tips, SD pro billet distributor, erformance Electronics ( Screamin Demon coil, mm Live Wires, PI module), -3 spark plugs, lex-a-lite Black Magic Electric fan conversion, luidyne Aluminum radiator, " cowl induction hood, eavy duty alternator, ord Racing gear reduction starter, idanza Stage 1 clutch and billet flywheel, ord Racing Aluminum driveshaft and a Hurst short throw cue ball shifter assembly.
The sum of her parts ( I named her Layla after the song) but, one of that comes close to the experience of actually driving this car.
Any questions, hoot them my way. To answer why am I selling...I once heard car ownership described as not really ownership but, ore of a stewardship. You get to experience the car and what it has to offer and then you pass it on to someone else so they can have a turn. Like a rolling piece of history to be shared not hoarded.
