1958 Ford Fairlane Custom 300

Selling my 1958 Ford Custom 300
The car was originally a Baby Blue color. I actually love the way it looks right now, wouldn't paint it. Just get it running again and enjoy the patina!
I bought this from an estate sale. The previous elderly owner had started a restoration, hen was unable to finish it.
It was parked in there backyard where it got the surface rust seen in the pics during the body work stage.
The old owner appeared to be planning on painting the car a dark teal / blue color.
The car is a Salvage title in CA. It has not been wrecked but the previous owner bought it from Ecology and any cars they sell wrecked or not get a salvage title in CA.
The original engine was removed which is included in the sale.
There is also a freshly rebuild larger and more powerful straight six included in the sale which was the motor he planned on installing in the car.
The car was originally a manual which the old owner planned on converting to an automatic. The original transmission is gone I do not have it.
There are two other automatics included in the sale. The clutch pedal is still in the car if you wanted to convert it back.
All glass is original to the car the windshield and passenger door window are cracked.
The car has surface rust from sitting outside. sands right off. NO CANCER. California rust free car.
The car is missing the gas tank, xhaust, ide trim, eadliner and the lights for the trunk.
The body is in great shape and the doors shut SOLID. Gotta love a California Car. The old owner was in the process of completing the body work for paint.
The car is missing the side trim, think the old owner planned or shaving it.
The car has a new disk brake kit installed on the front, t will need a master cylinder.
Please see the pics if you need something specific please ask.
Its a very cool car with lots of potential. Happy Bidding!
