Description:

1929 Ford Model A Roadster

This is a professionally built fiberglass full fendered Ford Roadster hot rod. It was built in the early 2001-2004 time period. I purchased it in 2008 with 3600 miles on the odometer and in close to excellent condition. It presently has 5250 miles and is in excellent condition. It is registered in California as a 1929 Ford.

The engine is rock solid and responsive. Because of the wide rear racing tires (inflated to 10 psi)the car has a soft smooth comfortable ride.

Engine: This is a smooth idling, unning andpowerful late 1990’s Mustang 5.0 H0 (high output) low mileage engine. (How about that, Ford with a Ford engine?) The HO engine is stock, s removed from its Mustang. Engine accessories include: Proform HEI electronic ignition, delbrock #2121 dual plane intake manifold, delbrock #1403 500 CFM Performer Carburetor. (I removed the original computer controlled fuel injection system.) The custom exhaust system includes JBA headers and electrically controlled cutouts. With cutouts closed it is muted and quiet; with the cutouts open it’s loud and probably going to get you a ticket or blow your brains out.

Transmission: Ford AOD – automatic overdrive transmission. This transmission does not require electronic or computer driven shifting. The shifter is a B&M Quicksilver ratchet shifter. This 4 speed transmission is in excellent condition.

Rear End: The rear end is a highly modified Ford 9 inch assembly with shortened axles and housing, abricated by Currie Enterprises. The ratio is 4.11 to 1 with an Eaton Detroit Truetrac fully automatic limited slip differential. The rear end assembly has less than 1000 miles on it.

Chassis: Custom built 2"x4" rectangular tube structural steel frame (extremely rigid), Mustang 2 front suspension, ack and pinion steering, ear traction bars, ront and rear QA1 adjustable coil over shocks, adjustable springs and four wheel disk brakes.

Wheels & Tires: Wheels - Centerline Convo Pro racing polished aluminum spin forged wheels. Tires - Mickey Thompson Sportsman S/R. Fronts are 26x6.00-15; rears are 29x18-15 (yes, 8 in. wide which is the widest street legal tire made).

Body: The fiberglass body is professionally built. It has flush mounted doors, o external handles, idden door hinges, s full fendered and is tubbed to accept the huge rear tires. It was repainted professionally in 2010. It has polished stainless steel bumpers, steel Rootlieb Hood, o side panels and no top.

Words: Shipping is buyers responsibility. I can help in loading the car etc. There is no warranty with the car. Inspectionand or test drive is welcomed.
