Description:

1973 Ford Mustang Mach 1

This is an extremely well-cared for 1973 Mach 1 Mustang that has undergone a complete cosmetic restoration within the past 2 years. This car was recently owned by a body shop owner, nd he used the outstanding paint and body work of this car as advertising of his company’s quality workmanship!

This classic Pony features the original numbers-matching 351C (Q-Code) 4V Cobra Jet engine, nd Select Shift Cruise-O-Matic 3-Speed transmission, nd 3:25 rear axle ratio. This car runs, rives, hifts, tops and idles just exactly like it should with no issues whatsoever! The original carburetor has been completely rebuilt and re-plated for optimal performance, nd the original distributor has been replaced with a NOS distributor.

This Mustang has been re-painted in the original colors of Bright Red (2B) with a high quality base coat / clear coat, nd also has the correct Blackout hood treatment. The paint and body are in excellent shape, nd looks just like new! This completely rust-free car retains all of its original sheet metal, nd the body was taken down to bare metal prior to the repaint. The car has maybe 200 miles on it since the restoration was completed.

The black vinyl interior and the dashboard are in excellent shape, nd are both original to the car. The hi-back bucket seats are very comfortable, nd show no signs of wear. The carpet is brand new as well as the headliner. This is an original A/C car that works perfectly after the new condenser was installed recently. The heating system also works correctly now that a new heater core was installed.

All the gauges and lights on the car are in excellent working order. However the clock only keeps perfect time twice per day.

This awesome Mustang came with staggered rear shocks and a rear sway bar, nd really handles great compared to the earlier Mustangs! The aftermarket wheels are brand new, nd the BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires have maybe 50 miles on them!

Since this car did not receive a frame-off restoration; you can clearly see the original underside is still in great shape for its age. This car isn’t hiding anything!

Although not a perfect car… this is far better than a “driver”. This is an iconic car to be able to cruise regularly or show.
