Description:

1986 Ford F-250

For sale is my Bright White over Canyon Red 1986 Ford F-250 4x4. The F-250 is powered by a 460CI V8 engine backed by a 4 speed manual transmission and part time 4x4 transfer case. The truck has covered 113,300 miles in its life and spent the vast majority of its life in Idaho and the mountain west until I recently brought it to North Carolina.
The body is in good shape overall and very rust free for its age! The floors are gorgeous (see photos) and the body only a couple small rust spots but zero rot. The paint is mostly original and has patina, chips and scratches as you would expect with the year but shows well overall. All the factory under hood decals and “paint ok” stamps are still present. The bones of this truck are extremely solid.
The all original interior also shows well for its age. The seat has a few small tears as you can see in the photos. As does the rubber floor mat. All the lights and gauges function as the should. The dash pad has been replaced but the Dash bezel shows some sun fade. In the glovebox you will find the original owners manual from 1986. As does the climate control and the original AM/FM cassette radio. The headliner has a couple bubbles. The door panels are in great shape for the year.
The heart of this beast is its massive 460CI engine, the engine starts up immediately, runs and drives down the road great. The 4 manual transmission shifts smooth as you would expect. The 4 wheel drive system works as you would expect as well. It’s factory wheels are fit with 235/85R16 Toyo A/T tires with approximately 50% tread. Both front and rear axles are fit with 4.10 gears. This truck could pull a house down!
This is an awesome survivor F-250 that drives down the road great and gets looks everywhere it goes.
