1969 Ford F-100 Pro Touring

What a nice old pickup... oh, wait a minute, check out the stance. Those slick wheels. The sound of the Coyote's exhaust and the blinding shine from that top-dollar paint job. No, this isn't just some old pickup, this is a nasty pro-touring F-100 with equal parts luxury and horsepower, making for the ideal iron fist in a silk glove.
Before we get to all that fuel-injected Coyote horsepower, let's take a minute to admire just how good this truck looks. It was finished very recently (the entire build has only 1,208, miles on the clock) and the show-quality "Scott Hoke" Metallic Blue paint is holding up beautifully. Obviously, that comes from excellent prep and care, and the detail work shown on this laser-straight truck suggests that it was a very expensive build. Panel fit is excellent, the doors open and close easily, and that big hood snugs down neatly against the fenders. All of the truck's original curves are still there, and the builders were right to not alter the original Ford style, but rather enhance with fresh paint, glass, trim, and rubber all completed and installed to an A+ standard. The chrome on these early F-100s is plentiful, anchored by that iconic grille up front that matches the beautiful side trim molding and smooth bumpers, all of which are bright and shiny as can be. And you won't be hauling anything in the bed soon either, although it's certainly capable of handling it. But it's just too darn pretty in our opinion, with a 100% handmade, Amish crafted, dual planed and sealed hardwood bed with chrome slats and bedlined walls. My goodness is this a beautiful truck.
The leather-lined interior is very comfortable and beautifully built. Those are aftermarket, low-back bucket seats wrapped in handsome blue and white leather, accented with billet eyelets and fitted neatly in the Ford's reasonably spacious cab. A matching custom center console was created to sit between them, and it includes cup holders and the same cool eyelets found in the seats. The original dash was painted to match the exterior and then filled with handsome Dakota Digital gauges and a correct Ford truck steering wheel was dropped on a matching tilt column, so it has an OEM look and feel. Both door panels were left with a stock setup but painted to match the dash, the carpets below look brand new, and the headliner up top ties the entire cabin in together nicely. Other options include 3-point seatbelts, Vintage A/C that blows cold, and a modern retro-style AM/FM/AUX radio that fits right into the original slot. It's all quite neat and tasteful, and the contrast with the insane performance is very appealing. Get in and cruise or get in and race, it's happy doing both.
The reason this beautiful truck is so good at going fast is the crate 5.0L Coyote V8 under the hood. Beautifully detailed, it might make you forget that it's a massive horsepower factory, with 450+ ponies quickly accessed via a fully-expandable Ford Performance ECU, proper tuning, and lots of bolt-on goodies. Because of it you get instant pop when you need, along with supreme reliability, which means this is the ultimate restomod – a classic truck with modern performance. A giant Griffin heavy-duty aluminum radiator keeps it cool, a JTL 4.5" intake system and throttle body spacer help it breathe, and all the accessories are new and courtesy of Power by the Hour. The block is beautifully finished with a Ford Blue intake and coil covers, so everyone will recognize that this is truly modern Blue Oval performance. The hoses and wires are quite neatly routed in a way that'll make you proud to show off the engine bay, too. A more-than-capable 6R80 fully automatic transmission with Sport Mode (the manual controls are in the cabin) is one of the few that will withstand the massive torque, and there's a narrowed 9-inch with new Strange Engineering center sections and axles. If you've noticed that killer stance you've probably guessed it's all new too, with a custom Heidts and TCI set-up in the front, adjustable coilovers at each corner, and a custom 4-link out back to put it all down. A custom exhaust gives it a ferocious bark that can still be civilized on the street, and the drive is awesome every time out thanks to Wilwood power 4-discs and a power rack-and-pinion system. 20-inch Billet Specialties wheels are a great look on this restomod, wrapped with grippy 245/40/20 front and 295/40/20 rear performance tires that stick to the ground.
Blank-check frame off restored and insanely fast, this amazing truck does everything well. It's an easy cruiser but there aren't many street cars that can keep up with it. Love the look, but you'll enjoy the performance even more. Call today!
