Race history from2001 with SCCA log book, well known in Shelby and Cobra Club track events in California, Arizona and Utah since 2004. Raced with SCCA and CSRG. Current title, registration, and insurance for street use.

Prepared for racing limits well beyond its current use. Nothing but the best parts and preparation for endurance and reliability. Could easily be re-configured for various vintage race categories or kept as a high value, low maintenance weekend track car.

·NASCAR sourced aluminum radiator with heat exchanger and electric fan for water andoil cooling.

·Cobra Automotive remote oil filter attachment.

·3”custom stainless exhaust with X pipe, Dynomax mufflers meets 92dB at Laguna Seca

·Clay Smith Engineering original engine builder, rebuilt by Mike McDaniel at Engine Supply in Santa Ana, CA

Oil changed every 2 events and plugs once a year or more as needed.

GEARBOX:

Ford top loader close ratio. Rebuilt in 2019 by David Kee with new internals and an aluminum tail housing added. Hurst Speedway short throw shifter. Custom built aluminum shifter surround.

Fuel Cell:

Aero Tech Services butyl Goodyear rubber bladder was replaced in 2015.

Surge box and dip stick.

SUSPENSION:

·Global West CAT 5 rear springs w/ mono balls.

·New Global West upper control arms with 3 degrees of positive caster built in.

·Total Control Products lower control arms.

·Total Control Products adjustable strut rods.

·Stam-bar1” front sway bar.

·OpenTracker roller spring perches.

·Koni vintage orange shocks re-valved to road racing specifications on all fourcorners.

Custom built subframe connectors.

REAR END:

Ford 9” with 31spline Currie axles. Roush racing differential with REM polished 3.60gears. Includes a Ford TrueTrac. Available separately spare same Roush diff with 3.89 gears.

BRAKES,Wheels, Tires:

Fronts: Wilwood12.72” slotted rotors (new) with Wilwood Superlite 4 piston calipers withcooling ducts.

Rears: Baer PBR calipers slotted and drilled rotors.

Front hubs custom made by Nimmo Machine from billet aluminum. One piece hub and hat.Spindles: Boss 302 design with large Boss 302 bearings and internal bearing spacers so you can lock down the nut tight and install the cotter key.

Wheels by Vintage Wheel Works 16 X 8 torque thrust style.

Tires 245 x 45x 16 Hoosier R7’s

FIRE SYSTEM:

Safecraft 10lb halogen 3 nozzle fire system mounted behind passenger’s seat. Nozzles in the trunk, drivers side passenger compartment and engine bay.

SEATING:

Cobra driver’s seat with 5 point Schroth cam lock harness.

Passenger seat is a Kirkey aluminum entry level seat with a 5 point cam lock Simpson harness.

ROLL BARS:

6 point rollbar with door X bars and bar just under dash and one behind the seats with a diagonal support.

GAUGES

Shelby R Model gauge cluster with oil pressure, oil temperature, water temperature and a non-functional fuel gauge. The fuel cell has an integral dipstick. An AutoMeter UltraLite 10,000rpm tach with shift light (7000rpm) is mounted on the steering column.

Its a 2000 Well Cargo 22' with 3 doors... 3rd door is very handy for vehicle access. A picture of it is in the background of one pic above. It has a Superwinch with cordless remote so no annoying cords. Its an old trailer that has served me very well. Has a work bench with mounted tool box some tools included. Trailer includes all tie down straps so its a complete turn key operation.
