Description:

1978 Ford Mustang

It has a new fuel system. I had the tank cleaned, replaced all the seals on the tank and the fuel sender, and had the carb overhauled. It runs really well. I used it as my daily driver for about 2 months last summer, just around town. I would want to do a few things to it before I would take it on the highway. I replaced the water pump and flushed the system and replaced all the hoses also. In the picture it has the spare tire on it, I think it might be the original, I'm not sure. That is no longer on it, it has 4 matching wheels. This car is in pretty good original condition, it doesn't look like it was ever restored. I can't find any rust on it. I posted pictures of the blemishes, I will send you pictures of anything you ask for. It looks like the right rear quarter has been replaced. The 3 gauge cluster (fuel, temp, alt) usually works when you start the car, but stops working quickly afterward. The heater motor does not work, a new one comes with it. I no longer have a garage so I haven't put it in, that's also the reason I'm selling the car. The dash only has one little crack in it, on the passenger side near the corner. The car runs and drives well, but I would definitely not drive it to wherever you live before some work is done to it. I would go through the brakes and put tires on it at the very minimum, however it should be trailered. Buyer is responsible for picking it up or shipping. Depending on where you are we might be able to work out a deal. We could meet half way or something, again depending where you live. Winner pays a non-refundable $500 deposit and the rest is due when the car is picked up. Ask any questions that you have before bidding, like I said I will send you more pictures if you want to see something specific. I forgot to mention that it has a moon roof. I'm not sure if it was an option that year of if it was added. It doesn't leak, but I haven't opened it in fear that it won't seal tight if I do.
