Description:

1972 Ford Mustang

Beautiful 1972 Mustang Convertible. 351 Cleveland V8 - Automatic Transmission. Power Disc Brakes, Power Steering. Runs and Handles Excellent. Pampered and Garage Kept by 3 Adult Owners, primarily used as a fair weather pleasure car - not many Mustangs like that. Was represented as 59k actual miles by the son of the second owner, who inherited it from his father in 1988, title shows 49k at that time-sold as mileage exempt due to age. Interior is original, only wear being on the driver's armrest, and some carpet fraying in spots, neither of which justify replacement in my opinion - see picture. No cracks in dash, display panels are crisp. Side glass and windshield are all original FoMoCo, no rock chips or scratches (!) Side windows line up properly. Body is incredibly straight, all of the panels line up excellent, doors shut deliberately and tight without sagging. Has been repainted, no overspray that I can find. Ding on the top of the front bumper (driver's side) and slightly into the grill - see pic. Newer power top with glass window - works as it should. Has the top boot cover as well as the case for it. Has the dual sport mirrors. Recent Cooper Cobra Tires on Magnum 500 Mag Wheels. The transmission was redone in 2018. One of the most fun, eye-catching cars I've ever driven - good teaching moment for the younger generation who may not realize there was a time when cars were available in actual colors instead of goldish-gray or grayish-gold. The 351 CLEVELAND always starts right up, doesn't smoke. Chose to leave the cosmetics under the hood original - just a little clean up. The original AM-FM Stereo fades in and out, I have a Bluetooth speaker I use with my phone that sounds great. $19,000. I do not charge "inventory" or "document fees. Texas residents must pay tax and title. Feel free to call me with any questions (214)770-0437 - calls are always the best way to contact me.
