OVERVIEW
The UNCUT FORD Bronco has always been an in demand collector car, ecause so many of them have been chopped up, odified, r had the rust removed quickly thus rendering them worthless as an investment.
Don’t get me wrong, love a good fender-flared Bronco as much as the next guy, nd have sold more than a few of them over the years, ut there is something about an original, ncut rear fender line that really looks good!
This particular Bronco is the result of over two years in professional restoration from front to back, nd it is one of the nicest examples I have personally seen in quite a long time.
Please take a moment to read the detailed listing, ook over the 100 extra-large detailed photos, nd then call me to make it yours before someone else does it first!
THIS VEHICLE HAS A CLEAN AND CLEAR FLORIDA TITLE IN OUR POSSESSION, ND IS NOT A CONSIGNMENT VEHICLE.

DESCRIPTION
You have to LOVE the Bronco. It is the original mid-size SUV, nd has created a legacy of being one of the toughest 4x4’s made over the years!
This particular Bronco has just completed a full restoration that took a little over two and a half years to complete, nd the end result is one of the cleanest, traightest, reat running, nd easy driving Bronco Wagons you will come across.
The first thing you see is the gorgeous Blow Glow Poly FORD finish on the truck, hich is accented by the Smoke Gray roof, ide stripes, nd hood stripes.
The finish is so wet looking that you’ll check your hand for paint after you touch it! It is shiny, eep, nd looks just as good in the shade as it does in the sunlight.
The rich, moke grays stripes were carefully sprayed on the hood and sides, nd accent the wagon well in conjunction with the smoke gray fiberglass roof.
The body is just STUNNING, nd is so straight and solid that you won’t even comprehend it! SO MUCH MONEY was spent to make sure that the inside, utside, ans, loors, aps, eams, nd everything else on the truck was perfect, t actually looks better than new!!!!
It is ALL STEEL, nd there is absolutely NO MUD, O BONDO, O CHICKEN WIRE, O BEER CANS CRUSHED UP, O BS REPAIRS, ND NO SHORCUTS on this car!!!! If you look inside the front fenders it is so clean and straight it shows better than new!!!!!! There are NO STORIES with this Bronco, nd I strongly encourage you to come see it in person, ecause the first person who does will buy it on the spot.
Yes, ou will see a small little blemish, tone chip, airline scuff, r something of that nature if you dig around long enough, ut make no mistake about it, his Bronco is PRIME TIME READY and can withstand the most scrutinizing inspection with pride. The largest is an area at the DS rear where the bumper edge rubbed it during installation, nd it isn’t really noticeable until you get right up on it. The rest is little blems you will see on all but the $150,000 and up stuff.
Remember that this Bronco has NOT been detailed by me! We like to show our cars without all the fluff and photoshopping other people use, o just know that once you get it home and clean all the nooks and crannies out, t will look even nicer than it does already!
Receipts for parts, etal work, aint prep, nd finish work are mind-blowing when you total them up, nd equal out to what a lot of people spend for the whole finished CAR! A quest to create one of the cleanest Bronco Wagons around didn’t deter the prior owner from going after it with an open checkbook and an eye for the little things!
The list of new items on the exterior of the truck alone is extensive, nd the short version includes:
NEW TAIL LAMPS
NEW HEADLAMPS
NEW MARKER LAMPS
NEW REFLECTORS
NEW SIGNAL LAMPS
NEW FUEL CAP
NEW FRONT CHROME BUMPER
NEW REAR CHROME BUMPER
NEW CHROME HARDWARE FOR BUMPERS
NEW STAINLESS MOUNTING HARDWARE
NEW LICENSE PLATE MOUNT
NEW SPARE TIRE RACK
NEW STAINLESS STEEL SIDE VIEW MIRRORS
NEW DOOR LOCKS
NEW EMBLEMS
NEW BADGING
NEW HOOD PIN KIT
NEW WIPER ARMS
NEW WASHER FLUID NOZZLES
NEW WINDOW SEALS ON THE FIBERGLASS TOP
NEW WINDOWS SEALS ON DOORS
NEW VENT WINDOW SEALS AND PIVOT KIT
NEW WINDSHIELD SEAL
What isn’t new is in great, riginal condition, ike the outside door handles!
The glass is all original, nd in good to above average condition. The windshield has some debris marks in it from normal use, ut is perfectly usable and clear to see through. Rear window also has some marks, ut is quite good overall. Side glass and vent windows are in really good condition, nd none of the glass shows any cracks or issues with laminate.
The Bronco rolls on a BRAND NEW SET of PACER 15” 8-hole show chromed rims that are wrapped in new GOODYEAR Wrangler RWL tires sized 31x10.50R 15LT all the way around. The tires are PERFECT for the Bronco, nd have a great look without being unruly when you drive it!
Overall, he exterior of this truck is stunning, nd when you roll into a parking lot, eads turn and the cell phone camera’s flash because not many people have seen a Bronco as nice as this one!
Pop the hood pins and open up the hood to a really clean and well done engine bay that is ready to start and take you anywhere!
The factory 302 FORD motor is clean, eat, nd more than presentable, ven without a detail. It was treated to new valve cover gaskets, ew intake gasket, ew plugs, ew distributor, ew hoses, ew plug wires, ew alternator, ew starter, ew Holley Carb, ew radiator, adiator shroud, an, lamps, elt, oses, nd lines.
It has the stock air cleaner/breather system which works and looks great.
It had its second full fluid service since break-in and initial fluid change on 6/15/2015, nd is ready to roll with about 800 miles since then, 00 or so of those being put on by me personally! It is running 10W30 here in Florida, ut you can change it to whatever fits your climate the best.
It has a new (6/2015) Duralast GOLD battery with 550CCA and new cables and ground strap.
Factory date coded jack with handle resides on the driver side fender and works like it should.
New brake master cylinder and lines, long with new shoes all around helps it stop on a dime. Brakes are correctly adjusted so that it doesn’t pull, ander, r jerk when you use them.
The engine starts with a quick turn of the key, dles cleanly, nd has no skip, urble, r stutter to it.
Snick the 3-speed transmission into gear, nd she is ready to go wherever you want! Each gear change is smooth and easy, nd power comes on as needed with just a press of your right foot.
No drama, o issues. Just drive it.
I have personally put about 200 miles on this Bronco, nd finally had to stop because I knew I had to take pictures of it and get it out in the marketplace! It is a blast to drive, nd does everything like it should.
Power is smooth, hifts are smooth, t doesn’t even remotely get hot, ven when idling in beach traffic for 40 minutes on a Sunday, nd everything on and in it works like it should.
Ride is nice, hanks to NEW 5.5” long-travel coil springs up front, lock lift on new springs out back, ew shocks all around, nd a dropped pitman arm, rack bar, rack bar bushings, ropped radius arms, nd new bushings, earings, nd brackets, nd more.
It steers nice, oesn’t dance or snag wheel troughs, nd is so easy to manage that my wife even wanted to take it to the store without being coerced!
It has a completely rebuilt manual steering box, nd the larger wheel and tire combo makes it super easy to turn, ven at low speeds.
The front tank was purposefully left out of the Bronco, s the prior owner had intended on putting a gun safe under that section, nd never had the chance. The rear tank is new, s are the lines, nd 2-way tank switch was left intact up front if you want to add one down the road.
The entire chassis was treated to a VERY LIGHT COAT of Rhino –Liner material to protect it from rocks, ebris, nd rust. IT IS VERY LIGHT, ND YOU CAN STILL EASILY SEE ALL THE METAL ON THE FLOOR! It is solid, lean, nd still shows the stamping marks on it to the naked eye. This is a very light coat, ot a hiding coat like you see sometimes.
The transfer case is a 300777-15 DANA-SPICER Model 20 with the serial tag still attached, nd it was refurbished to stock specifications and works as it should. This unit has the 2:34.1 low range gear according to the prior owners notes, hich would be correct for a model 20 in 1973 from what I found online.
I have engaged both low and high aspects of the 4wd system in the grassy area behind our store, nd it functions like it should.
Overall, he chassis, ngine bay, nd mechanicals on the truck look great, erform like they should, nd will not disappoint the new owner.
Again, t has NOT been detailed by me, o you will see that the underside has some grime and dirt on it, nd the grease from lubricating the rear diff got thrown up on the floor pan, o it will need wiped off. It is clean and solid, nd a little time with a pressure washer and some towels will make it show exceptionally well when you get it home!
Pull open the doors to reveal the interior, ut don’t worry, hey have NEW CATCH STRAPS to keep them from extending out too far!
Tom’s Bronco was tapped for a complete new set of front and rear seats, nd almost $1,300 later, he deluxe buckets and rear bench were installed with new hardware, eat tracks, nd seat belts! They look amazing, re super easy to keep clean, nd are as comfortable as most modern cars are to sit it!
Tom’s also supplied the matching dual sun visors, rake pedal, lutch pedal, as pedal, igh beam floor switch with wiring harness, nd a new rear view mirror.
The original steering column is topped by the original steering wheel, hich looks amazing and has a fully functional horn too!
The shifter arm, x4 shift arm, nd signal arm are original, nd work great!
Dash is clean, eat, nd painted to match, nd has a fully functional speedometer and odometer on it, long with inset gauges for TEMP, UEL, IL, nd ALTERNATOR that all appear to be working as they should.
Speedometer surround is original and worn, ut the prior owner didn’t want to replace it. You can either restore it, aint it, eave it, r replace it if you want, nd all of those options have a minimal cost involved.
All of the other switches on the car work like they should, ncluding:
*LIGHT SWITCH – PARKING AND HEADLAMPS WORK, LUS FOOT HIGH BEAM SWITCH
*HAZARD LIGHT SWITCH WORKS
*TWO SPEED ELECTRIC WIPERS WORK, S DO THE WASHER SPRAY NOZZLES.
*KEY SWITCH AND LIGHT WORK
*VENT CONTROLS FOR DRIVER AND PASSNEGER SIDE WORK
*FAN SWITCH CONTROL FOR HEATER/DEFROST WORKS
The original window rollers were kept, s they look really good for being 42 years old, nd the original door arm rest pads were kept for mainly sentimental reasons. They are both fully functional, ut I would replace them just to make everything come up to the level of the rest of this Bronco.
Door panels themselves are painted in the Smoke Gray for contrast, nd have all new stainless hardware on them.
New interior door pulls, nd door pull cups look fantastic too, nd function like they should.
Door jambs are clean and hinges are lithium grease lubricated.
Bottoms of the doors show wonderfully, s do the jambs and rockers.
The entire floor of the Bronco is bare metal, nd you can see how solid, traight, ust, nd rot free it is from the top or the bottom!!!!
I didn’t want to put rubber matting or carpet in this, ecause it is kind or a personal choice, o I thought the new owner could pick if they didn’t like the bare metal.
Rear lift gate opens easily, nd the factory stops work to keep it in the open spot until you want it down.
Tail gate opens like it should, nd it is as solid as new inside, t the pivot points, nd all around.
Tail gate and lift gate hardware and arms are original and in perfect working order, ut not as clean and pretty as the rest of the new stuff on this machine.
The fiberglass top is in fantastic condition, nd is painted in the Smoke Gray color. I have never had it removed, ut from what I can see, t is in phenomenal condition, ith no known issues.
Key locks the hatch and doors like it should, ith another for the ignition.
This Bronco is one bad machine, nd every time I have taken it out for a spin, omeone stops me for a photo, o tell me a story, r just to marvel at it!
When money is not an objection, nd you want it to be done right, his is the kind of ride you end up with!
There are over $16,000 in receipts for mainly paint, ody, nd prep work that come with the car, nd when you see it in person, ou will know that a lot more was spent on this Bronco to get it done right. If you want one of the cleanest, traightest, icest driving, nd best running Bronc’s around, hen this is the one for you!
