This 1933 Ford Sedan Delivery was built several years ago at a cost in excess of $115k, and includes absolutely stunning paint and body work featuring 8 different colors, 3-D graphics, and a tribute to the legendary Big Daddy Ed Roth's 1960s Rat Fink character. The eye-melting Atlas Green Blue paint is topped with black flames that are outlined in candy lime metallic, with subtle red and gold metalflake inside the flames. These are surrounded by beautiful white and ivory "real fire" flames that are expertly sprinkled with candy blue metallic in areas that catch sunlight best. The "Rat Trap" 3-D graphics and Rat Fink character are expertly hand-painted/ airbrushed, clear-coated, and are the highlight of the car that brings a smile to everyone who sees it. Additional features include nice-fitting suicide doors (with a hidden remote button for driver's side), plus a power operated rear door. The level of detail, fit, finish, and striking colors are the hit of every show and cruise we've taken it to, and has led to both awards and a magazine photo shoot this past Fall.
Because I know I'll get this question---The color of the car is closer to the professional shots with the model. It can look different depending on the amount of light and cloud cover, but to me the tint is more strongly green than blue. It is similar (not identical) to Ford's "Grabber Green" from the '69-'70 Mustangs. I have many more pictures of the car, please inquire for those. I also made a 5 minute walkaround video of the car, and my phone made it look more blue than it actually is as well. It can be seen here:

Underneath the fiberglass body lies a drivetrain consisting of a built and cammed 400 SBC with a Holley 750 on top, headers, Flowmaster exhaust, and a new 4-core aluminum radiator with dual electric fans to help keep it cool. All of that sits on top of a Mustang 2 front end. A crisp-shifting automatic transmission sits behind that, leading to a narrowed Ford 9" rear end housing 3.73 gears and supported by a 4-link rear suspension with coilover shocks. Brakes are discs in front and drums out back. There's also an undercar battery cut-off switch.
Inside is a finished cabin in gray cloth, with an excellent-fitting contoured bench seat with center arm rest. A small hidden storage area behind the seats gives way to the finished "delivery" area in back, which has plenty of room for chairs, coolers, or luggage for those longer trips. I suppose if you're a cheese maker, this is your wet dream of a company delivery vehicle...haha.
This car comes with power windows (all 3), cold air conditioning, a chrome I-Didit tilt steering column, leather wheel, and custom air-brushed graphics on the passenger side of the dash to tie everything together. A full complement of VDO gauges keeps track of things, and all exterior lights and signals work as they should. Wheels are very high quality Colorado Custom billet wheels, 15x10 in back and 15x5 in front. Rear tires are Mickey Thompson Sportsmans with street treads.
Not only is this car stunning to look at, but it can be driven anywhere, anytime, even as a daily driver if one were so inclined. It has 16,000 well proven miles, and starts up every time! The sounds this rod makes are simply music to a car guy's ears, especially given the side-exit dual exhausts. And--the car drives excellent, whether in town or on the interstate. The attention it gets everywhere it goes is just crazy. Be prepared to expand your list of friends bigly when driving this thing!
There are speakers installed in the back but no stereo unit has ever been installed in the car. There are a few light nicks and scuffs where body panels meet, but they've been touched up, and a small bottle of exact matching paint is included. Only other flaws include a half-dollar sized stain in the rear area, and the fact the temp gauge in the dash failed, but has been replaced by another temp gauge just below the dash and under the original.
With well over $25,000 in paint and body alone, this is truly a unique, reliable street rod that could even be re-purposed with cover-up graphics for your business, to draw both eyes and wallets into your circle of influence.
Don't miss your chance! This car will be GONE by spring for the upcoming show season.
