Here is the story on this car that I personally owned for 24 years.
My Grandfather(Dan Kuecker-Maurice, IA-Deceased) bought this new and after he
passed away in 1964, my Dad(Les Koopman-Maurice, IA-Deceased) bought it and
finally sold it in 1969 to Fred Herring-LeMars, IA-Living who sold it to a collector,Earl Utesch-LeMars, IA-Deceased. Earl had it completely done with new interior and paint in
1975 and then parked it without ever driving it. He owned around 50 cars in his collection.I purchased the car in 1994 from Earl as his health was failing and later passed away.Since I have owned the car with 148,000 miles to the present 151,773, I have taken it to carshows and local cruises. This auction will include (if you want it) the original rims and tires,cracked block and all extra parts I have in totes(TOTALLY OPTIONAL).The car runs very well and drives very well with the radial tires and 15" rims.It has been garaged for sure since 1975 and does not have rusted floors or that kind of problem.It has a few rock chips here and there but have all but 1 piece of chrome installed.Chrome has some new & some with a few dings.I have 5 original rims & 4 were repainted to match the car.The spare has the original color & pin stripes on the rim.5 of the tires on rims are Wards Riverside DeLuxe 6.00 X 16 4 PLY4 NOS Wards Riverside Deluxe 7.00 X 16(NEVER MOUNTED.The original tires have a fake whitewall that is reusable on new mounted tires.These compression whitewalls are very rare.It also comes with a vintage bug shield to mount on the front of the car.The original fender skirts are painted the same color as the car.They just look dusty in the pictures.
